The City's first splashpad is coming to Grove Park in the Spring of 2026!

This is a much-anticipated new park amenity in this neighborhood park. Construction will be underway soon, and park-goers can anticipate the upcoming closure of the parking lot and restrooms during the construction of the splashpad. These areas will be closed for a period of 6 months.

Why the closures?

  • The parking lot closure is intended to provide construction crews an area for staging equipment and materials. Additionally, there is an existing sewer and storm drain line that runs through the parking lot where the necessary connections will be made to serve the splashpad.
  • The restroom has to be closed so that updates to the facility can be made to ensure we have the necessary amenities required for our splashers.

The playgrounds, walking paths, basketball court, and open space will remain open to the public with some impact to the open space directly adjacent to the new splashpad.
